Walkthrough prior to closing: We will accompany you on a final walkthrough in the home prior to closing to make sure that the home is in the condition you expect. Take your time and ask questions. If there are any concerns, we will help you to resolve the issue.
Final closing: We will monitor the entire purchase process up to and including the final closing. Remember there are no stupid questions. If you are not sure about something, just ask.
Costs: These fees occur when you actually get a loan from your financial institution. These include points, taxes, title insurance, financing costs, items that must be prepaid or paid through escrow and other escrow costs. If you do not understand or have questions about any of these costs, be sure to ask, and your lender or escrow officer can explain. (Remember, there’s no dumb question.)
Closing costs generally range between 2-7% of the loan value. You’ll receive an estimate from your lender after you apply for a mortgage. You must pay these costs at the time you close on your home loan.
